I am having trouble accessing the library databases off-campus. Can you help me?

There has been a persistent issue with off-campus access to library databases this semester; however, if you are not experiencing issues then no action is required. Some students, faculty, and staff attempting to log in to PGCC library databases with their myPGCC logins are locked into a failure loop, where their credentials are correct, but they are continually re-directed to the login page.

Please note: If a non-PGCC device is being used to login, the first action before resetting the password should be to clear the cache history in the browser. Here are links to the instructions:

Google Chrome: How to Clear the Cache Mozilla Firefox: How to Clear the Cache Internet Explorer: How to Clear the Cache The following steps to reset your password should resolve the login failure loop issue:

Go to my.pgcc.edu and enter your myPGCC username without the "@pgcc.edu" and enter your password. On the myPGCC Portal, select "Password & Account Management". Click “Change your password now” and follow the steps. Attention: the system will automatically lock your account if there are multiple unsuccessful login attempts in a short period of time. You must contact the Technology Service Desk at 301-546-0637 to verify your identity in order to unlock your account and reset your password.
